Alt lines, in one view
Every line, every alt, with hit rate and edge attached.
The published main line is just one row in a ladder of alts. The +0.5 line, the -0.5 line, even the +2.5 — each is priced differently and each has its own signal. props.fyi shows every alt in one place, so you can compare them without flipping between sources or building a spreadsheet.
Click into any prop on the table and the alt-line ladder opens up: every available line, the hit rate at that line, the implied probability, and the signal. Sort, filter, find the alt that pays.
What you see
Every prop on props.fyi has a full alt-line ladder, not just the main posted line. For points, assists, rebounds, threes, PRA, blocks, steals, fouls, and quarter-specific stats — the model evaluates each line independently. Some markets ship with five or more alts; some ship with two. We show whatever is available.
How to read it
- Line — the over/under threshold at that row.
- Hit rate — the share of games at the active span (L10, L20, season) where the player crossed that line.
- Hits — raw count: how many games out of the total in the current span.
- Odds — the price at that line, in your default decimal or American format.
- Edge — the gap between the model's projected hit rate and the implied probability from the published market. Positive means the model projects above the market.
How we calculate it
Every line in the ladder runs through the same model. Hit rate is the player's actual cross rate at that exact line over the chosen span — no smoothing, no projection mixing. Edge is the difference between the implied probability with juice removed and the projected hit rate, which is built from form, defensive matchup, pace, and game context. Each line is evaluated independently, so a +0.5 line can carry positive edge while the main line sits at zero.
Where to find it
Open any prop on the main table and the alt-line ladder appears in the player detail panel. You can also use the over/under and hit-rate filters to surface alt-only views — useful when you're hunting for high-confidence alts on heavy favorites.
